The "Mask of Dresio". A Celtic iron age head from Ossola Valley, Northern Italy that was used as a fountain mask since possibly the Roman/Medieval era until recent years. It is now substituted with a replica on the fountain. Was originally either part of a statue or a sacred spring.

A picture of the Minoan Palace of Minos in Crete, and a reconstruction of the palace as it may have appeared in its heyday. Built between 1900-1350 BCE, the palace was a complex of buildings which served as a combination religious and administrative centre rather than a royal residence
