An ancient cave painting from northern Australia, made between 20,000-25,000 years ago. The painting depicts 8 roosting fruit bats, also called flying foxes. They have features that do not match any Australian bats alive today, suggesting the art depicts a species that is now extinct

Discovered in a cave in southern Poland in the 1980s, this prehistoric boomerang was made from a mammoth tusk and estimated to be 18,000 years old. But new analysis has uncovered that the boomerang is between 39,000 to 42,000 years old, making it the oldest known boomerang in history.

The "Mask of Dresio". A Celtic iron age head from Ossola Valley, Northern Italy that was used as a fountain mask since possibly the Roman/Medieval era until recent years. It is now substituted with a replica on the fountain. Was originally either part of a statue or a sacred spring.
