Aberconwy House in Wales is a rare survivor of the medieval English merchant’s houses built shortly after Edward I’s conquest in 1277 AD. It has a stone-built cellar and ground floor, with a jettied timber upper storey supported on corbels, testifying to its prosperity.

Partially preserved marble head of a woman from Roman times - probably Venus . According to the researchers, the oxidation of the sculpture's brown eyelashes created tear-like spots. The object was discovered in Athens. It is now on display at the Acropolis museum.
