Prison Hoods of the Abraham Lincoln Conspirators. Secretary of War Edwin Stanton ordered that the imprisoned conspirators wear hoods at all times. These canvas hoods with rope ties were made for this purpose. The accused wore the hoods in their cells and on their way to trial. 1865

A 48 cm long pendant carved out of 5 pieces of raw jade. It consists of 16 parts connected by 3 jade rings and 1 jade pin, and it's adorned with 37 dragons, 7 phoenixes and 10 snakes. Found in the Tomb of Marquis Yi of Zeng, 433 BCE, China

This dragon shaped artifact is made up of over 2,000 tiny pieces of turquoise, and measures over 70 cm in length. It was found in an aristocratic tomb at the Erlitou site, which is believed by many scholars to be the capital of China's first dynasty, the Xia Dynasty

Base slab for a huge statue, discovered at Aksum, Ethiopia by a German Expedition in 1906. It bore two depressions, 5 cm deep and 92 cm long in the shape of human feet. It is estimated it was about 5.5-6 meters tall.
