Apollo of Gaza, in 2012 a Palestinian fisherman from Gaza recovered the Ancient Greek bronze statue of Apollo and put it up for sale for $500k on EBay. The statue, more than 2000 years old, was seized by police and never seen again.

The "Mask of Dresio". A Celtic iron age head from Ossola Valley, Northern Italy that was used as a fountain mask since possibly the Roman/Medieval era until recent years. It is now substituted with a replica on the fountain. Was originally either part of a statue or a sacred spring.

Jane Austen's portable mahogany desk was bought by her dad The Rev George Austen in Basingstoke at Ring Brothers in Dec 1794 as a present for his daughter born 16th Dec 1775. They lived 7 miles away at Steventon Parsonage where in 1796 she began the 1st draft of Pride and Prejudice.
