30 Indigenous artifacts – including spears kept in a British museum since 1881 – have been returned to the Larrakia community. As attitudes towards colonisation and rightful ownership continue to shift, an increasing number of UK museums are repatriating items to where they originated.

Housed at Crete's Museum of Ancient Eleutherna, is the 9th-7th century BCE jar burial of a boy aged 11, and his devoted dog whose remains were found slightly above the layer of the initial burial, indicating that some time had passed before they laid the dog to rest just outside the jar
