A child mummy, whose body is partially covered by a textile made of yucca fibers and feathers, found in La Cueva de la Ventana in Chihuahua, Mexico. Based on dental development, the child was between one and a half and two years old when he died. Mogollon culture, 1063-1103 CE

In the late 1200s, people of the Mogollon culture made the caves above Cliff Dweller Creek, in New Mexico, their home. They built rooms, crafted pottery and raised children in the cliff dwellings for 1 or 2 generations. By 1300, the Mogollon had moved on, leaving the walls behind

The "Princess of Sarazm" from Tajikistan. The woman, who died around 5,500 years ago at the age of 37, was covered in a veil adorned with thousands of beads made of lapis lazuli, turquoise, and limestone. Gold beads adorned her hair, and she wore massive bracelets made from seashells

Two 2×1×0.5 cm bird figurines carved in detail from mammoth ivory and thought to be 40,000 years old were recovered by a team from the University of Tübingen. They were found in the lower layers of the Aurignacian Paleolithic culture in Hohle Fels a UNESCO World Heritage Cave.
