The Ise Monogatari, or Tales of Isei, attributed to Ariwara no Narihira in Japan. This copy, dating to Karoku 3, or 1227, is derived from a version dictated by the Monk Jien. Presently, it is the oldest, or one of the oldest copies in North America and Europe. A milestone acquisition

The 4th century CE Villa Romana del Casale in Sicily, is renowned for holding one of the world's largest and finest collection of in-situ Roman mosaics, covering over 3500 m². Preserved by a 12th-cent. mudslide, the villa complex sat on 22 acres, roughly equivalent to 17 football fields
