A crouching statue of the demon Asmodeus holds a holy water stoup inside the Eglise Mary Magdalene in Rennes-le-Château, France. Commissioned by Abbé Saunière c.1897 and made by Giscard of Toulouse, the devilish figure is linked to legends of hidden treasures and the Knights Templar.

The Tulip Stairs, Queen's House. Greenwich, UK. This ornate, wrought iron structure was the first geometric self-supporting spiral stair in Britain. Finally completed or around 1635, Queen's House was the UK's first truly classical building. Designed by the architect Inigo Jones
