An Old Copper Culture 'I-D'-style Spearpoint Recovered from Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula. Although it resembles Eurasian-style spearpoints, these were cold-hammered and annealed, not smelted. This style is thought to date between 4000-1000 B.C.E. based on similar finds.
