Phra Sukhothai Traimit - the "Golden Buddha" - is a 3m tall, 5.5 ton statue of the Buddha located in Bangkok, Thailand. Covered in plaster for centuries, an accident in 1955 revealed the solid gold underneath. At current gold prices, its raw value is approx. $750 Million USD.
