A gold and carnelian seal of Tipu Sultan, who ruled the Kingdom of Mysore from 1782-1799. The seal states, "Pillar of the Kingdom, Blessed of the State, Tipu Sultan 'Ali Khan, the Valiant Lion of Battle, 1197 AH".
