Funerary mask belonging to the "Red Queen" of Palenque, an elite Maya noblewoman Widely Thought to be Lady Ix Tz'akbu Ajaw. It was Discovered in the ruins of the Maya city of Palenque, now in the Palenque National Park in the Mexican state of Chiapas and Dated to between 600 and 700 AD.
