Apollo Citharoedus, cast bronze and glass paste, Pompeii, 50 BC. A statue type with the god holding the cithara in his arm, supposed a copy of a Greek bronze original made in the 5th c. BC. More than a dozen replicas have been found, the main ones being this one and the one in Mantua.
